The Eastman SB55/v is a deliberately simple single-pickup solidbody: one-piece okoume body, Antique Varnish finish, wraparound Faber bridge and a Lollar 50’s Spec dog-ear P-90 in the bridge position.

Why it is so simple
There is no neck pickup and no selector switch. The SB55/v centres the whole design around one bridge P-90, a wraparound bridge and two controls. Eastman pairs that stripped-back layout with its Antique Varnish finish and aged nickel hardware rather than treating it as a budget model.
