The Eastman Fullertone DC’62 is a 25.5-inch double-cut solidbody built around roasted black limba, a roasted maple neck and Eastman’s two-bolt long-tenon Fullertone neck joint. Its pickup layout combines two noiseless single-coils with a Tonerider soapbar humbucker.

The Fullertone idea
The unusual specification is the neck joint. Rather than a conventional four-bolt construction, Eastman uses a two-bolt long-tenon design. The DC’62 also sits at a much lower UK retail price than many of Eastman’s traditional solidbody and thinline models, making it a distinct branch of the electric range rather than simply another SB-series variation.
