The Eastman AR605CED and AR805CE share the same 16-inch body width, 3 1/4-inch depth and 25-inch scale, but they are very different archtops in practice. The AR605CED uses solid mahogany back and sides with two Seymour Duncan Seth Lover humbuckers; the AR805CE uses solid hand-carved maple back and sides and a single Lollar neck humbucker.

Which one makes more sense?
Choose the AR605CED if you want more electric versatility from two pickups and prefer the warmer mahogany-backed construction.
Choose the AR805CE if you want the more traditional jazz layout: one neck humbucker, carved maple back and sides and a simpler control setup focused on warm neck-pickup tones.
