The Eastman PCH1-D is an entry-level dreadnought built with a solid thermo-cured Sitka spruce top and laminated sapele back and sides. It keeps a full 25.4-inch scale and traditional dreadnought dimensions while arriving at a considerably lower price than Eastman’s all-solid models.

Key specification
The PCH1-D uses a Traditional Even C okoume neck, 1.75-inch bone nut, rosewood fingerboard and bridge, and 20 Jescar frets. Current Eastman specification lists Traditional and Classic colour options.
PCH versus Traditional Series
The key construction distinction is at the back and sides. The PCH1-D uses laminated sapele, while models such as the E1D move to all-solid construction with solid sapele back and sides.
