The Eastman PCH2-D is a dreadnought with a solid thermo-cured Sitka spruce top and laminated rosewood back and sides. Compared with the PCH1-D, it moves from sapele to rosewood laminate and adds a gloss top finish.

Key specification
The PCH2-D uses Eastman’s Traditional Even C neck profile, a 1.75-inch bone nut, 20 Jescar frets and Pingwell tuners. The current specification retains a rosewood fingerboard and bridge.
PCH1-D or PCH2-D?
The body size and scale are effectively the same. The PCH2-D’s main material change is laminated rosewood back and sides instead of laminated sapele, together with its gloss top treatment.
