The Eastman SB59 is the standard gloss version of Eastman’s single-cut design, combining a solid flame-maple top with a one-piece okoume back, long-tenon neck joint and a pair of Seymour Duncan ’59 humbuckers.

Key specification
The SB59 uses Eastman’s Traditional Even C neck profile, a 1.68-inch bone nut and Jescar FW47104 fretwire. Controls use CTS 500K audio-taper pots, Sprague Orange Drop capacitors and a three-way selector.
SB59 or SB59/v?
The standard SB59 keeps a TruTone gloss finish, regular nickel hardware and Seymour Duncan ’59 pickups. The SB59/v moves to Antique Varnish, aged hardware and Lollar Custom Aged/Wound Imperial humbuckers.
