The Eastman AR805CE and AR810CE are closely related fully carved jazz archtops. Both use solid spruce tops, hand-carved maple back and sides, 25-inch scales and a single Lollar Custom Wound Imperial neck humbucker. The biggest difference is body size: 16 inches for the AR805CE and 17 inches for the AR810CE.

Which one makes more sense?
Choose the AR805CE if you want the same carved-maple jazz formula in a slightly more manageable 16-inch body.
Choose the AR810CE if you prefer the feel and acoustic presence of a traditional 17-inch jazz box and do not mind the extra width.
