The original Eastman Romeo is a compact 14.75-inch thinline built around a solid spruce top, mahogany laminate back and sides and a small bridge block rather than a full-length centre block. Lollar Custom Wound Imperial humbuckers complete the standard specification.

Key specification
The Romeo uses a Traditional Even C maple neck, 1.72-inch bone nut and Jescar fretwire. Hardware includes a Gotoh bridge and tailpiece, Gotoh locking tuners and nickel appointments.

Eastman has used the Romeo name for several related instruments, including California, LA and NYC variants. Their construction and pickups are not identical, so this page covers the original Romeo specification rather than treating every Romeo-branded guitar as the same model.
